Information for Parents and Students:
Drop Off in Lot A - June 26, 2018 8:30 AM at the Corner of Fifth and Craft Avenues and cross the street to AJ Palumbo Hall of Science and Technology. Bring your sleeping bags, pillows and clothes with you.
Pick Up - June 29, 2018- 12:15 PM- On Campus in front of Frances Warde Hall ( Purple Awnings) *Enter Carlow's campus from Fifth Avenue, turn right up the driveway at the Carlow University sign and look for the purple awnings of Frances Warde Hall. You can continue to pull up in front of the University Commons Building on the right to park also.

This four-day workshop includes three nights* spent in the Carlow dorms! Cost includes the four-day workshop, all off- campus transportation, T-shirt, journal, activities, continental breakfasts, as well as lunches and dinners, provided, and residence hall facilities.
Explore Your Professional and College Life
This four-day workshop introduces you to careers in the fields of health care and health sciences. It is open to all high school students entering grades 9-12 interested in exploring the healthcare professions.
Healthcare educators and professionals recommend you gain as much hands-on experience as possible— and Carlow University's workshop delivers. During Prepare to Care, you will meet with faculty members, nurses, and other healthcare specialists, researchers, tour healthcare facilities, and learn nursing essentials in Carlow's state-of-the-art Nursing Skills Lab.
Hands-On Workshops and Activities
As a Prepare to Care participant, you will have experiences that will give you advantages when you apply to college, such as:
- Observe an open-heart surgery or a robotic surgery
- Work in dissection and anatomy labs
- Care for "patients" in Carlow's cutting-edge simulation lab
- Explore a local hospital
- Participate in hands-on lab activities with Carlow faculty
- Tips for college preparation
Cost: $379 if paid in full before May 1, 2018 ($399 after).
