    Move-in Day

    Frances Warde Hall, Third Floor Main Entrance (Resident Students and Families)
    Please plan to arrive at your assigned time to alleviate waiting for elevators and give you the opportunity to have staff help you move in. When you arrive on campus, you will drive up to the residence hall where a professional moving company will unload your car. You will then be given a ticket, and a valet attendant will move your car to a parking lot.
    A-G // 8 a.m. – 10 a.m.
    H-O // 10 a.m. – Noon
    P-Z // Noon – 2 p.m.

    Matriculation Ceremony M

    Orientation Check-in M TF

    You will receive an orientation package complete with important information about every orientation event, menus and coupons for select restaurants around Pittsburgh, and a rad T-shirt. You will also receive your name badge that lists your locations for some of the week’s events.

    5 p.m.–7 p.m.
    Opening Dinner—Meet Your First Year Mentor M TF

    Your first official meal at Carlow and this is your chance to chance to meet your First Year Mentor and some fellow classmates.

    7 p.m.–9 p.m.

    Everything you need to know about drugs and alcohol in college and, most importantly, how to stay safe while on and off campus.

    First Year Seminar—Your First College Class M

    Meet your advisor and classmates while spending more time with your First Year Mentor as they teach your very first class at Carlow.

    2:30 p.m.–4 p.m.
    Class Prep. 101­—How to Succeed in College Classes M TF

    Various locations around campus; please refer to the label you will receive at orientation check-in. (All Students)
    Listen to a mock lecture, learn great study tips, and find out what your studying strengths are.

    4 p.m.–5 p.m.
    MAT100 Presentation (only students registered for MAT100 must attend)
    A.J. Palumbo Hall of Science and Technology, Room 107
    Meet your professor and learn how to log in and complete the course.

    4 p.m.–6 p.m.

    Exploring Enrique’s Journey—A Pittsburgh Perspective M

    Discuss the common reader, Enrique’s Journey, and learn all about immigration in America and Pittsburgh and how it relates to you.
