The Carlow softball team was edged by WVU Tech in a RSC and USCAA double header on Friday, April 21, at Fairhaven Park. The Golden Bears (12-30, 8-5 RSC) defeated the Celtics, 1-0, in Game 1, and 2-1, in Game 2.

The Carlow softball team split a pair of River States Conference games with Ohio Christian on Saturday afternoon, at Fairhaven Park. The Celtics won Game 1, 5-4 in nine innings, and lost Game 2, 10-7.

The Celtics battled through cold, wind and rain at Chapel Hill Golf Course in their first 36-hole competition. Hunter Marshall shot 158 (83, 75), tied for 29th place.

The Carlow tennis team swept Ohio Christian, 9-0, in a River States Conference match Friday afternoon at the Greensburg Racquet Club. The Celtics evened up their overall record at 2-2 and improved to 2-1 in RSC play.

Celtics sweep Chatham in home opener

Carlow center fielder Kenzie Young tripled and scored the game-winning run in the first game, and third baseman Allison Hryadil smashed a walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the seventh inning of the second game.
