Krista Boyer is a graduate of Carlow University’s Psy D program. She also holds master’s degrees in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University and Business from Seton Hill University. She majored in Art Therapy and Art History while as an undergrad at Seton Hill University. She completed doctoral practicum experiences at Wesley Spectrum’s Integrated Partial Program, Allegheny General’s Neuropsych Clinic, and Carnegie Mellon’s Counseling Center. Krista’s dissertation was entitled Psychologists’ Attitudes Toward Holistic Techniques. She completed her internship through Immaculata University’s-Pre Doctoral Internship Consortium where she completed individual psychotherapy and a wide range of psychological testing. She also developed a reminiscence therapy program at a personal care home, created outreach programming aimed at stigma reduction, and appeared regularly as a guest expert on BCTV’s Talking Mental Health show. Krista currently practices at Connellsville Counseling and Psychological Services where she conducts diagnostic evaluations, provides supervision, and delivers individual, group, and family therapy to a wide range of clientele.
