Michelle Stoner’s first full-length poetry collection, Flats and Riots, was published in 2008 (WordTech Communications). Her work has also appeared or is forthcoming in 5AM, Bloom, The Collared Peccary, and Weave Magazine, among others. Stoner holds an MA in English from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an MFA in Creative Writing, Poetry from Carlow University. She is a sound engineer for Prosody, NPR-affiliate WESA’s weekly show featuring the work of national writers. In addition to teaching in the U.S., Stoner has worked as an English instructor in Japan and Peru.
