As an admissions counselor at Carlow University, Monica Sieber hopes to show each prospective student all that Carlow and the city of Pittsburgh have to offer.
“It is my ultimate goal to encourage students to dive into the Carlow and Pittsburgh communities,” says Monica. “I want students to see the whole picture of what it is like to attend Carlow”.
Monica is originally from Pittsburgh and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and English.
Monica has been a member of the Carlow community since 2003 when she began working as an Administrative Assistant to Carlow’s Adult Degree Center and Graduate School Admissions. In 2008, she became an admissions counselor for Carlow’s Undergraduate and Graduate Nursing programs.
Carlow is unique in that it is small enough to cater to the individual needs of each student, but not only do students receive an exceptional educational experience, but they have the chance to apply what they learn through travel, research and internship opportunities that are specific to their passions.
In her spare time, Monica enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with her friends and family including her husband and four children.
