Geyer earns NAIA Scholar-Athlete award

Carlow softball player Kelsey Geyer was named to the 2018 Daktronics-NAIA Women’s Softball Scholar-Athlete team, announced Wednesday, May 30, by the NAIA.

The award, which was earned by 466 softball student-athletes, is given to those who maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and have achieved junior academic status.

Geyer is a senior shortstop from Pittsburgh, Pa., who was also named a River States Conference Scholar-Athlete and a USCAA Scholar-Athlete this season.
