MSN Adjunct- Clinical Faculty
BSN Nursing Program
Carlow University’s Department of Nursing is seeking MSN
prepared medical/surgical nurses with a minimum of three years of recent
bedside experience to serve in the role of part-time clinical faculty in the
BSN program. We are currently seeking applicants to teach clinical in the fall
semester, specifically in the following areas:
Degree BSN Program 2018-2019 Adjunct Clinical Faculty– Fall Semester 8-week
sophomore level health assessment Mondays and Tuesdays from 1:00pm to
5:00pm 8/27/18-10/10/18, and health promotion/disease prevention Mondays
and/or Wednesdays 7:00am to 12:00pm and Tuesday 1pm-5pm 10/22/18-12/5/18, in
the Simulation Lab and Inpatient Hospital Units. Spring Semester 8 week
Junior Medical Surgical clinical as scheduled.
Degree BSN Program 2018-2019 Lead Clinical/Lab Adjunct Faculty. This
position includes teaching responsibilities as listed above for fall and
spring semester and clinical coordination for both semesters. Faculty will
work closely with the Second Degree Program Coordinator to align didactic
and lab content, develop laboratory/simulation teaching modules and be the
lead laboratory instructor of content. This position also involves
coordinating and communicating with the adjunct clinical faculty teaching
in the course. Other teaching opportunities based on faculty interests and
Degree BSN Program 2018-2019 Clinical/Lab Facilitator. This position
includes teaching responsibilities as listed above for fall and spring
semester and laboratory facilitation for both semesters. Faculty will work
closely with the Second Degree Program Coordinator and Lead Clinical/Lab
Adjunct to provide set-up of the skill/simulation lab based on the content
being delivered. Faculty will also participate in skill competency
evaluation, lab make-up and clinical make-up activities as needed. Other
teaching opportunities based on faculty interests and qualifications.
