Play For Carlow

Larissa will join Carlow's new track and field team.

Freshman Larissa Kijowski was one of the first signees of the new track and field team, after she chose to go into Carlow's nursing program. The university featured Larissa in the spring 2017 edition of Carlow University Magazine.

“The Sisters of Mercy align with my overall goals and values,” she says. “They have a truly positive impact on people’s lives, and that’s what I want to do.” Read her story.

In high school, she ran the 800-meter and the mile races for track in addition to being on the cross country and softball teams.

Celtics cross country coach Greg Schmitt will lead the coaching staff for track and field.

Runners need not wait until spring to compete. Men and women may be eligible for Carlow's cross country team that competes in the fall. So join up!

The Carlow Celtics are represented by thirteen varsity sports teams: men’s and women’s basketball, cross-country, golf, track and field, and soccer—and women’s softball, tennis, and volleyball. Visit Carlow Athletics to learn more.
