University invites applications for an innovative full-time tenure-track Health
Information Management and Analytics (HIMA) Program Director at the Assistant
or Associate Professor rank, beginning Summer 2017. Responsibilities will
include program development and oversight as well as teaching
responsibilities. Candidates should
possess a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, service and scholarship.
Recent experience in the following is preferred: traditional and online teaching
at the college/university level, research and/or scholarly activities, and
success in working with diverse populations of learners.
- Develop and Lead the HIMA program
- Teach and advise within the program
- Maintain relevant practice
- Participate in University and College
of Health and Wellness committees

Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), Registered Health
Information Management Administrator (RHIA) preferred
development and sustainment of an education program in health informatics,
health information management and/or health information technology.
experience related to the practice of health information management, health
technology and/ or health analytics is preferred.
developing a credentialed program in health informatics, health information
technology or health analytics preferred.
