Enrollment Business Analyst

Description:

Carlow University invites applications for the position of Enrollment Business Analyst.  This person is responsible for providing support for the processes, software systems, data integrity and reporting within the Enrollment Management division.

NATURE OF POSITION: 

  • Configures the software (CRM and related) used within the recruitment and enrollment functions. 
  • Plans and manages business process analysis, re-engineering, and organizational change
  • Assists the VP of Enrollment Management in data collection and reporting, as well as analysis of trends and monitoring of key performance indicators and goals.
  • Learns and remains current on all aspects of Enrollment Management systems; responsible for the quality assurance of data.
  • Trains other team members - and assists in daily use - of the software to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintains and improves online application, event registration, and inquiry forms.
  • Acts as project manager/liaison for software implementation, training, upgrades and data integrity
  • Works with the VP of Enrollment Management in coordinating and updating all enrollment management technical and operational requirements
  • Develops audits to insure integrity of data and information
  • Configures and maintain the CRM and related software, and assists new users in the use of the CRM
  • Works with IT on data integrations to and from the CRM and related software
  • Supports the recruitment campaign workflow and communications process implementation within the CRM
  • Creates documentation on enrollment management systems and data processes
  • Demonstrates and reflects an understanding of and commitment to the mission and core values of Carlow University and the Sisters of Mercy.

Required Experience:

  • Experience in a technical support role within admissions/enrollment management or related area
  • Advanced skills in Excel and Access
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to function as part of a team environment
  • SQL and relational database knowledge
  • Experience with reporting tools; extracting, transforming, loading, and testing data.
  • Broad technical knowledge

Qualifications:

  • Required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Preferably in a related IT field
  • Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Required: Ability to relate and communicate in a positive way to the many constituencies of the University
  • Highly Preferred: Knowledge of enrollment management internal operation
  • Highly Preferred: Experience working with CRMs, related higher education management systems
